Afishionado was set up as an online shopping site, built completely from scratch using Ruby on Rails and Flash. When it was first created, it was a place where you could buy urban clothing for Work, Play and Fishing, including hooded tops, t-shirts, polos, caps, combats for men, women, kids. Afishionado was all about wearing their clothes with Passion!

The Afishionado website had already been built and was operating when rocrabbit were approached. Afishionado wanted to upgrade the site to provide additional functionality on a regular basis, almost like ongoing maintenance. Retro-fitting changes and making improvements took place over about a 2-year period.

The types and numbers of improvements made to the site were varied and many - here are some examples:

• Updating the shops introduction flash page
• Enhancing the navigation of the flash home page
• Introducing a newsletter
• Adding a questionnaire to the checkout
• Adding promotional codes to the checkout process
• Improving the delivery information for customers
• Adding multiple delivery costs depending on the country being posted to
• Managing issues with Paypal
• Improving the visualisation of product images with an enlarged image upon roll-over with the mouse
• General site maintenance
